Get to know Matt Weinsting, our Cubmaster…
Matt is incredibly excited to join the leadership team of the Pack where his Scouting Journey Started 25 years ago. During his time in Pack 703, he absolutely fell in love with scouts and worked to earn his Arrow of Light award before transitioning over to BSA Troop 708, where he served as Senior Patrol Leader before earning his Eagle Scout. Some of Matt’s fondest memories of scout were the active leaders who made a difference and worked to build the man he is today. Before becoming Cubmaster, Matt served as Den leader for the Wolves and Bears, where his son Winn is a Scout. He is excited to continue the tradition of Pack 703 as his Tiger Scout Daughter, Marlena, makes her way through the ranks.
In his personal life, Matt works for Columbia Public Schools as math teacher at Hickman High School, and spends the majority of his time hanging out with his two kids and Wife, Amy.
